Over five years ago Waldorf Dodge announced the addition of Mr. Dennie Hyde to the dealership’s Parts Team as Parts Manager. Mr. Hyde has been in the automotive industry for over 37 years and brings his enthusiasm, vast knowledge of the automotive parts business, and concern for providing great customer service to Waldorf Dodge’s Parts Department.
Dennie’s passion for automotive parts and taking care of his customers resonates throughout everything he does. Most recently Dennie created East Coast Moparts.com an additional parts division of Waldorf Dodge. Dennie developed eastcoastmoparts.com to bring the best prices of Mopar Parts (which also includes a nationwide warranty at any Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep dealership) to the very best customer, his Mopar Parts customers.

He sponsors and volunteers his time to the annual Moparpalooza, a charity car show supporting The Fisher House Foundation.

The Fisher House Foundation provides “a home away from home” that enables family members of service men and women to be close to their loved ones during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury. During the successful 2014 Moparpalooza, East Coast Moparts, Waldorf Dodge and many other organizations raised over 25 thousand dollars for The Fisher House Foundation.
When Dennie isn’t busy running two parts businesses and volunteering his time to charitable organizations he enjoys golfing (most recently he placed 1st at the 2014 Annual TK Company Golf Tournament) and he also enjoys boating and jet skiing.

A native of Southern Maryland, Dennie resides with his wife Michelle of 30 years. They have two twin sons, Devin 27 and Drew 27 who both have followed in his footsteps in the automotive parts industry. Like Dennie, they too are invaluable to Waldorf Ford and Waldorf Dodge’s customers and parts departments.
“We are thrilled Dennie is at Waldorf Dodge and helps our dealership address the needs of not just our Parts customers but all of our customers with his automotive expertise. We’re especially thankful for our communities support over the years so we can continue to grow as a business. Mr. Hyde provides significant contributions to Waldorf Dodge and remains a valuable source for our Parts Department,” said Greg Basiliko, General Manager of Waldorf Dodge.
So make sure to stop by Waldorf Dodge to meet Dennie Hyde for all your Mopar Parts needs! Dennie strives to bring the very best prices to the very best customers, Mopar Customers.
You may know by now that the 2014 Ram 1500 is Motor Trend’s Truck of Year for the second year in a row. Thanks to the innovation behind the EcoDiesel engine, Motor Trend found the Ram 1500 to be worthy of the first ever back-to-back Truck of the Year title. You’d probably agree that 28 miles per gallon on the highway is an award-winning feat for a full-size lightweight pickup.
So, to celebrate, we took the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel across the country to meet the people (you) that made this possible. We visited Ram Truck owners from Michigan to California, visiting their homes and workplaces and listening to their stories about their trucks. The folks we visited on our trip proved to us that what people say is true: Ram Trucks know how to work hard and play hard.
Now the time has come for you all to hop in and ride along with us. We’ve got a string of videos highlighting all our stops and conversations, from interviews with owners and fans to pullovers at landmarks and monuments. Enjoy this great country with us as we head south to Texas and west toward the Pacific. This is one road trip you don’t want to miss.
The current franchised new-car dealer model has benefited consumers, manufacturers and local communities for nearly a century. It is supported by both dealers and factories as the best and most efficient way to buy, sell, service and finance cars in the marketplace. NADA’s Get the Facts page sets the record straight about the benefits of the franchise system for consumers and local communities all over America.
“Franchised new-car dealers provide the best, most efficient and most cost-effective way to sell and distribute new cars in America, and we’re proud of our businesses and business model,” said NADA President Peter Welch.
“NADA’s efforts will set the record straight about the benefits of the dealer franchise network for consumers, manufacturers and local communities everywhere,” Welch added. “New-car dealers provide the best and most efficient way to buy and sell cars for both consumers and manufacturers, despite the misinformation and misconceptions that have surfaced over the last several months.”
“Franchised new-car dealers benefit consumers through price competition, accountability on warranty and safety recall issues, and provide enormous economic benefits to local communities across the country,” Welch said. “The dealer franchise network is supported by automakers as the best and most efficient way to buy, sell and service cars in the marketplace.”
The “Get The Facts” initiative highlights four central benefits of franchised auto dealers, which include:
1. Price Competition – New-car dealers compete fiercely for business and drive consumer prices down;
2. Consumer Safety – New-car dealers take the side of consumers in warranty and safety recall situations;
3. Local Economic Benefits – New-car dealers create well-paying local jobs and generate significant tax revenue that have a huge impact on local economies; and
4. Added Value – New-car dealers simplify an otherwise complex car-buying experience.
There are 17,700 new-car dealerships with nearly 32,000 domestic and international franchises that employ more than 1 million people in the U.S.
