A combination of high demand and low donations has put the Catholic Charities Southern Maryland Food Bank in dire need of food donations. The food bank is in need of items such as pasta, rice, canned food and other dry goods. Plus, the demand for food is expected to increase by 30% once schools are on summer vacation, taxing an already stressed system.
This Saturday, June 7th, 2014 Waldorf Dodge will be hosting the First Ever Community Appreciation Day! During the event, Waldorf Dodge will give out $5 OFF VOUCHERS for every food item donated, which can be redeemed (up to $250) toward the purchase of any new or pre-owned vehicle.
Additionally, we will donate $100 directly to Southern Maryland Food Bank for every vehicle sold on June 7th, 2014.
Free food, music, & giveaways from 11 am – 2 pm including free t-shirts for the first 500 people to stop in and see us.
