The latest aftermarket company to transform the Dodge Challenger into a high horsepower beast is SpeedFactory who is a leader in modern Mopar supercars. They have just announced their latest creation, a 600 horsepower six-speed Challenger dubbed the ‘SF600R’ that will be added to already potent lineup of Mopar supercars.
The 6.1-liter Hemi has been bored to 7.0-liters creating 426 cubic-inches of naturally aspirated Hemi displacement. The 426 ci motor uses an all-forged rotating assembly and features CNC ported aluminum heads with a host of new components. The end result with all the goodies is a dyno-proven 600 horsepower on 91 octane fuel. Other modifications finding their way on the SF600R Challenger include Corsa stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, Centerforce clutch, Getrag IRS with 1,000 horsepower half-shafts. The suspension has been improved with performance springs, sway bars and front and rear strut tower braces. Keeping all this horsepower on the pavement is a set of 20-inch BBS Black Edition CH-R flow-formed wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. Special badging, a serial numbered plaque and premium leather seats round out the feature list.
The 2010 SF600R Challenger can be purchased for $73,900 and is available now.
